MKS Law appoints new Fraud & Financial Investigator
MKS Law has bolstered its Investigation Unit with the addition of Fraud and Financial Investigator Emma Greville.
MKS Law would like to welcome Emma Greville to the firm. Emma is joining our Investigations Unit as a Fraud and Financial Investigator.
Emma has a strong academic and professional background spanning law, accounting, taxation and finance.
She holds undergraduate degrees in both Law and Accountancy, as well as a Masters in Law. She has completed the Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) exams.
Emma served with Cheshire Police as a Special Constable, prompting her interest in investigation and, in particular, forensic accountancy.
Her combined qualifications will be invaluable attributes when investigating commercial fraud and supporting civil litigation.
Head of Investigations, Tony McClements, welcomed Emma to the team, saying:
“Emma is extremely well-qualified, and I am delighted that we have stolen a march on many UK accountancy and law firms who were already showing an interest in headhunting her. Her multiple academic degrees and professional qualifications make her a great prospect for our team.
“I have been keen to reduce the age demographic of our Investigation Unit, and in doing so, broaden our team’s expertise so that we are better able to support our lawyers, and improve our ability to assist clients who have often fallen victim to fraud.
“Our Senior Investigator, Harley Thomas, has successfully dual-qualified in both accountancy and law. In turn he has gravitated increasingly towards the litigation side of our operation. He is extremely fortunate to have globally-recognised, senior lawyers around him to help guide the latest phase of his career development.
“My job now is to ensure that Emma receives the same support and guidance as she is embedded into the Investigation Unit. I am fortunate that Martin shares my belief that younger professionals such as Emma and Harley should be seen as our long-term legacy.”
